Whose eligible:There Will be 2 full tuition paid scholarships available to Freshman Nursing School students. 1candidate will be from the countryside and 1from a city environment.Families must be living below the standard Chinese poverty level.

How to Apply:You must submit a one page description in English of your family’s living condition ,why you chose Nursing as a career choice and where and how you plan to use your degree after graduation.

Application Deadline:Your paper must be received by September 30^th,2009.These documents will be revived by a committee for need of scholarship,planning and English writing skills.

The announcement of scholarship will be on October,15^th 2009 and a scholarship award ceremony will be held on October 30^th.

This scholarship will pay full tuition ,excluding books ,room and board for the three years while the student is engaged in classes at Jiujiang University Nursing School .

The scholarships are in the names of Caroline Maddock Hart:1^st president of the Chine Nurses Association,and Dr.Mary Stone:1^st female doctor from Jiujiang who graduated from the University Of Michigan and started the Jiujiang School of Nursing.

I encourage all Freshman Nursing School students who are eligible according to the guidelines listed above to submit a paper by September 30^th , 2009.
